Directions:

1. Chlorinate: Before entering the spa, add 1/2 ounce of this product per 500 gallons of water. Wait for 5 minutes before checking the chlorine residual, ensuring it falls between 2 to 3 ppm. If needed, add more of the product until the chlorine level falls within the desired range. Once the chlorine level stabilizes within 2 to 3 ppm, the spa or hot tub is ready for use.
2. Maintain: Add this product daily or as needed to sustain a residual chlorine reading of 2 to 3 ppm. Use a reliable test kit to frequently check the residual chlorine levels. Distribute the product over the water surface and allow at least 5 minutes for thorough mixing before testing. Note that heavy bather usage or the use of oils or lotions may increase the spa or hot tub’s chlorine demand, requiring more frequent residual chlorine checks.
3. Check pH: Regularly check the pH using a dependable test kit and keep it within the 7.2 to 7.8 range for pristine, clear water. Decrease the pH by using an appropriate agent like Sirona Spa Care Sodium Bisulfate or raise it with a suitable agent such as Sirona Spa Care Sodium Bicarbonate.
4. Superchlorination: A recommended routine is superchlorination every 2 to 4 weeks to manage odors and algae. To superchlorinate, add 1 ounce of this product per 500 gallons of water. Resume the usual program when the chlorine residual reaches 2 to 3 ppm.
